First thing to do is lay some fields first, then build roadways aligned to the fields and finally demolish the fields and align buildings to roadway. Then your future farms will line up. Obviously you may have to put further ''fake'' fields in to expand your roadways and demolish again.

Flax takes alot of it to make thread but the seed sells pretty decent i plant 50 plots of flax then in summer plant 50 plots of cabbage. at start 18-20 plot farm works well untill you are established.You need to use the "Farm Shed" instead of the Barn for it now. Ok, before they added the farm shed, the farming worked just fine. Have no clue why they added it. Plus the storage is so small in it. I added all the tools needed to farm and my worker will still not do a thing. I even moved the seeds needed from the barn to the farm shed to see if that would help, but no. If you go to the management tab and click on that building, it will tell you what it's missing. My guess is that you've told your worker to make something and you lack the raw materials.Resource storage space is shared between resource storage buildings.
